Pretty neat! I like the colours quite much.

The only thing to crit is the kind of slash he is using to decapitate his foe. If he held the guy's hair at the time that he swung the blade like that he must've had terribly awkward position when he started the swing. Or maybe he could have just grabbed the head very quickly after the cut..?

But this is just me and my mindless blabber, please don't mind.

I think the warrior's expression is just right. He's looking for his next head to cut off already! He's a decapitating machine. He couldn't care less about this guy.

It's like my basketball coach told me in grade 5 - my biggest problem was standing and waiting to to see if my shot went in the basket, when I should be already in motion to catch the potential rebound!

Cool thing about swords is that you don't need a big swing to cut somebody. Just using the weight of the blade is enough to do it. Since that poor guy has his back turned, the hero must've decided a full swing wasn't worth the effort.

Great work for 50 minutes, Gordillo. Wonderful choice of colours, too. Did you paint over a sketch for this or did you start with an empty canvas in photoshop?

wow! I dig the colours!!
And it's rather awesome for a quickie!!

It got a bit of that "FREEEDOM!!" feeling from Braveheart.

Maybe it's just the guys red hair..

Looking great - the sword seems to have movement in it and the guy being decapitated looks solemnly surprised. Only thing that bothers me is the expression the red-headed warrior is having, it's like he didn't know what he was doing and that he wasn't quite there - besides, he's head seems to be a tad too small.

Awesome work nevertheless - beats what I could do any day.

I have to agree with Marvel though, It would add much if you changed his expression a bit. Like he was screaming or something..

Great pic but one question. Why is a big, red-haired barbarian using a katana? Wouldn't a claymore fit him much better?

Now I remember where I've seen him before-

That's Obelisk on steroids, isn't it? He's gone berzerk and now he's hacking up the romans instead of beating them up!
