Just finished rendering some lineart of a bounty hunter type. I posted the lineart itself in the character thread.

C&C appreciated

I just saw this in that thread, looks good coloured up!!!!

One thing I would say is the cool orange backlighting on the armour is not affecting the clothing at all, maybe just something subtle would add to this pic.....

He appears to be a little heavy on the left side. (I'm not sure if his stance would balance him properly)

Nice secondary lighting effects.

Bicep on left arm should start earlier. I'm assuming you were going for superhero exagerrated anatomy. Really cool idea. Foot anatomy should be looked at more indepth, and even if that is the shape you were gone for his left foot is wrong. It should like you were looking down on it since it's below the horizon line. The tiles destract the viewer. Choose something more subtle. Maybe stone tile not checkered to maintain the perspective.

I really like the bountyhunter. Not sure about the checkered background. The background looks to me like the kind of picture everyone did when they first did 3d pictures (metallic spheres and checkered floors) Sorry but I have to be honest. It is way to busy aswell, with a weird perspective. It takes to much attention away from your nice character. I would try a different background.
