Here's another image that I whipped up at my friends house (its 6am in the morning)
I didn't sleep at all, working on homework for school. Here's some kind of version of a dark Jedi ?? I dunno what that means exactly.
Perhaps like a good Jedi gone dark ??
Because it sure isn't a Sith (like Darth Maul) so I suppose its ...well whatever
here you are ! 45 minute rendering...with slight reference to my friends face as structure.

as far as Ive ever been able to tell, the "Sith" arent a race of creatures. The 'Jedi' is a title earned by warriors who have the force. The 'sith' is a title that contrasts 'jedi'

according to the PC game Jedi Knight, the 'dark Jedi' are people who were trained in the ways of the 'jedi' but chose to use them for evil purposes.

anyways, I like the pic.. I think it looks more like a 'calvin klien' or a 'guess' ad than a jedi tho.... but its still neat.

I think I had the model pose thing happening because I was thinking of the new Anakin Skywalker from Episode II and how he's the sort of mean pretty boy...

I guess I went too far with the almost 3 quarter view of a model face. Perhaps I could scar the guy up and work on it some more. I'm just studying portraits using achrimatic scale with a slight use of colour...I dunno whether thats hindering my learning or helpin it??

I'm trying to block out light and shadow...

anyways, next time I guess

A fallen jedi is one that has slipped towards the darkside. He Is still good at heart but he tends towards using the darkside to help him, he has fallen victim to the lure of the easy path.

A Dark Jedi is a jedi that has compleatly embraced the dark side. He has turned away from the light , and good. He has taken the path of anger, hate & fear. He is a pawn of the dark side.

A fallen jedi usually is attempting to atone for his mistakes, or is trying to turn away from the jedi tradition. He his still close to redemption.

I think he looks rather pensive as if he is debating the merrits of his inteneded course of action. He must choose....the sweet seductive call of the dark side of the force, and submit to his anger or to look for the calm within and follow the light.

Definately like your dark/fallen jedi, nice use of tone.
