Had fun with this one... working on a smoother style.
Have modified since initial upload...
Wacom 9 x 12 and Photoshop 6
Detail 1
Detail 2
Detail 3
Reference Photo
The reference photo on top was constructed using the three photos below. The three photos were screen captures from a TV ad.

k. it's kind of odd being the first one to reply to your image for the second time in a row, but what the hell. it's very nice. i thought proportions were exaggerated on the head at first, but it's actually quite like the photo :] .. the hand looks freaky- kind of flat and almost rinkly do to the way you brushed it, i think. |

The neck. Look at the first two pictures of your ref. (under the chin and the hair behind the hand)
And I think it would work better to use the ref. pictures as is instead of bothering with the manip. to. (but thats allmost another subject)
The hand looks a bit flat - but so it does in the photo so...
Nice

The thing that amazes me the most about your pics is the way you bring them to life. It's kinda like restoring an old automobile. You give the subject a whole new shine, it really is rather incredible.
I'm gonna have to chime in with the others in saying that I believe the hand is a bit to wrinkled. It kinda looks like she was hangin' out in the bathtub a little too long.
Still though, I'm amazed, as usual. |

Really nice recreation. The first thing I noticed was the hair overlapping the blue dress. It looks strange in that area and I think it is because there's no deep black shadows on the hair strands. In that particular area it looks a bit "paint by numbers" if you get my meaning, but overall it's cool. (better than I could do anyway! )
The hand kinda sticks out though - it's seems as it is not the woman's hand, but someone else's. It's not your fault, I think the rerference photos themselves look a bit goofy with her hand in there like that. (wouldn't be a problem if she was cropped full frame, though) Or how about if it was MY hand stroking her face and hair, that would be MUCH better. No, not for the photo, but in real life that is! ;p

Yeah... the hand is the real challenge in this picture... I've done some more work on it, but I'm still not real happy with it...
May work on it some more...
Who's the model? She's a screen capture from a Victoria's Secret TV commercial. |

Great job. I had a look at your website and I like your style.
I think that her hair could be could be a little darker. The photo reference has quite dark hair.
Also her hair near the back of her neck needs to flow out further to give the neck less elongation and more volume. |
