The skinny thing doesn't bother me at all actually... I like creative use of page space. But that's just me ^_^
My two crits however is that I think you're mixing two styles in your design. On the outside you have this grungey glowing green, stuff. On the inside you have this very crisp vector-type design. I don't think they go together all that well, personally. Someone else might disagree though.
And the other crit, which I think is quite important is that your links don't stand out until you roll your mouse over them. I think it would be wise to make them different from the default text somehow... unless of course you don't want anyone to find the links on your site. *grin*
The things I DO like are the tiny glowing splash image (I dunno, it's just neat ) and the colors you've chosen.
Hope that helps! |

Hrm, Yeh point about the links taken, when I update them i might put a little "Menu" Title somewhere on it. Im glad everyone seems to like the green stuff (as it is pretty much the only graphic on the page)
One of my friends said he found the green stuff distracting cause he just kept wanting to lick it. hehehe.
Also Blending of those 2 styles, crisp and slightly grungy was what i was trying to achieve, to see if it would work ok, and out of everyone thats seen it, your the only one to mention it, so i guess its personal preference really.
By the way by Xmas there will be a tutorial page on there. |
