i think i had problems the last time i posted this so i hope all i OK this time.

any C&c is wellcomed. it's a lil old but i didn't get replys about it yet so i thought i'd post it.

I think this image has some real potential... your just a stone's throw away from making it really cool.

First off - lose the text. *grin* It's really distracting from the rest of the piece. If you decide you just can't get rid of it, at least pick something that won't stand out quite so much.

Second - Your background painting is really awesome. Wonderful colors and you did an excellent job creating atmosphere. My eyes wander around the image looking at all the details but then they come to a screeching halt once I reach the alien. He is VERY green. The rest of your image has this lovely, low-saturated mood to it and I think the bright color of your alien takes away from that. Even the objects he's wearing/holding (except for that shield) are done in the same way as the rest of the painting. It wouldn't be at all hard to change I think, and it might be worth it.

I also agree with Jezebel. You almost have to make a conscious effort to look at the background with the way the text and alien are right now. But its still really cool

thanks for the replys.
i tend to agree about the text. i think i will remove it.
and about the green head\hands... i was afraid that if i saturate it it will disapear in the BG too much... i dunno. maybe i shuold get that green to have a blueish hue to it. that might get it to fit in with the rest
