Hi,
Normally I would create a picture, add it to my gallery, and *hope* people may see it. But now I'm going to try and plug my pics for all they're worth . So thats the mini story behind this newbie here.
Anyway here is my latest picture.
Please respond with any comments you may have. Feel free to C&C too so I may learn somthing.
Also here is my second most recent illustration if you want a geeze.
Beanie girl.
Thanks,
Peon.

I find the color combinations are very good, especially from "Beanie Girl"! Some critics though:
The shading of the red hair makes it too shiny and look like plastic. Try another highlight color than white, perhaps a lighter red.
You should also give more attention to the background, this will make your images more attractive!
There something I noticed at "Beanie Girl". Why did you use two different shading techniques?
Anyway, cool pictures!

n8: Hehe you crack me up!
Lucky my old account still works. My member number is so low!
Smi: I'll keep your comments in mind for next time ^^. I actually wanted this piece to have a blury background. Actually, refence was used for the background from a car advertisement.
With Beanie girl, well I used different shading for the bg to sorta make it look from an animation. Also I don't think cell style would work well on a background like that. OR if you were talking about her clothes, I did different shading to make it look more like a woolie jumper. |
