this is very cool! the only thing i dont like is the little guys hands. they seem a little lumpy. and wheres his top left arm connected to? his back? anyhow, looks great! love the dragon skull on the shoulder!

i like this pic... but i have a few things to crit...

1. The sky is too bright and empty, unbalances the picture...
2. his stomach is really bothering me... the highlights on it are way too bright, and it seems disconnected from his body. i want to look at the faces and the arms, but my eyes just keep moving to that belly...

other than that its pretty cool. next picture, try to make the face of the monster stand out more... a more important part of the picture if you will.

I made the little guys hands like that on purpose and yes, the top left hand of the cyclops is attached to his back and underneath the normally placed left arm.

Thanks for the crit. The sky does need to be worked on, I agree. Heres detail of the Cyclops picking his nose

i'll bet his testicles are about the size of your head. though, proportionally, it's hard to tell. he may be tucking.

neat image, btw. i love sense of scale in a pic.

dnips, I have a sense of humor but I think you took it too far when you went and rendered out my characters penus. WHat the hell were you thinking, are you stupid or something?! Why did you have to alter my drawing like that, you @$$hole?!!!! Go play with someone elses work! I'm here to a get a crit not f!ck around. Whoa. I got a little POed when someone asked to use one of my pics on their website and then they took it upon themself to remove the BG the a large soft eraser tool. It turned the edge of the forground into a faded/blurry mess.
I was just as angry with the person but lucky for them I dont unload on people with both barrels when I get pissed. I might wave the gun at them but thats about it. Its just the way I am I guess. I cant bring myself to yell at anyone(for the most part).

My little story dosnt really mean anything. This situation just reminded me of it.

Lechuck, its easy to say that when it's not happening to you. I have said what I need to say and I'm not going to go back and alter what I said because I don't think its right for 'dnips' to do that to my work. I worked hard on it and posted it to get a crit but I didn't think I would have to deal with such immature high school crap here at Sijun. There is definetly a time and place for this and this 'dnips' obviously can't make that distinction.

Acctuly it DID happen to me (read my first post). The only diffrence is that your pic was changed in the name of (twisted) humor. And mine was changed by some kid that made it look like an eyesore because they wanted a white BG.
And I worked hard on my image too.

I know your upset but please dont impune the effort other people put into their art. Just about everyone here works hard on their pictures.

Hey LeChuck, I am chill. I am not pissed off at you, but I am upset at 'dnips'. Theres a big difference when someone alters your drawing to give you a crit and show you a new way of doing things but what 'dnips' did is far different. Drawing a penus on my drawing is not constructive at all.

I dont think you understood what I ment pal. I was NOT talking about the guy that put a penith on your giant when I said "dont impune the effort other people put into their art". I was talking about anyone that has ever posted a picture they created.
You kind of made it sound like your the only person that works hard on their art.

oh come on calm down, its funny.

when some one notices that an arm is too small in some ones picture and goes ahead and does a paint over to illustrate how they think it should be, the other side doesnt started yelling at them demanding that the paint over be taken down.

sure this is a little different and meant to be humorous, i just think you are making too big of a deal out of it. dnips took the time to render it out quite well i think. to match the color and eqaul texturing involved took some effort and skill.

LeChuck, if you start reading into things that I say thats your problem. Anyways, it's over who cares.

And Keto, I don't think 'dnips' did it to only be funny, I think he altered my drawing to be a d!ck, he even started another thread called 'v' and tried posting the image but the fool mispelled the name of the file. If he thinks he can go around posting my altered work he has problems but I won't even get into that. I'll let the moderators deal with him. Anyways, I've said my peace, this old news, can we drop this already? I hope so. Later you 2.

No, it's not funny and he has a right to be pissed. It is totally inappropriate to alter an artists work without their permission. Especially if they express their disgust and want the offending image removed. It's copyright infringement, pure and simple.

as far as this thread is concerned, jcfig has a right to be mad. defacing an image like that, even if it's a joke, is insulting. i didn't even see an apology, on top of it all. it's over.

All things aside, I'm glad that that little incident is over and I say thanks to all those who stuck up for me, especially Enayla for deleting my altered drawing. Anyways heres the image in color. Crits welcome. 'Dnips' or anybody like him, please don't alter my drawing with disgusting additions only you will find funny. Thanks.
