My friend Hoa for her Birthday. Done in Photoshop, entirely with the brush tool.
There is a problem withe her left eye, but I am not quite sure what. And the hair needs work. But I only have time to print it out, so I wont be doing any more.
Hoa
C&C would be apreciated.

If you do another image like this use a bigger brush. Like one that is I don't know.. a quarter inch to a half inch. and try to do the whole picture this way and this will give you an unfocused look but then go in with a smaller brush, but not too small and rework the areas which need a little adjustment but not too much if you want I can show you but I'm not going to do it unless you want me to.

Good, but I think you could improve. The best way to get the pictures to match up proportions the best is to place a grid over top of the referance image and over your painting, it really helps show where the different elements of the face start and end, alot of famous painters used this method for doing portraits.

Thanks for the suggestions

eric_morrell: I think I understand. You are saying that I need to keep it looser, ecxept for parts that need more focus?

Lomi: There is defenently room for improvement. But i think I have improved a lot in the last month. Doesnt mean I am going to stop, though. And thats a good idea. thanks.
