This was an old sketch I had that Ive always liked....So I painted him...

That's a shaman, right? Looks pretty good, Blitz, but I think it's too dark. My suggestion is to add more light to the lighted parts and try desaturating the background a bit.

I agree a little bit with Ripelly there. If you bring out the lights a bit more it should really stand out. And I think if the background is one value darker should really help. It looks like your log is missing a back though! You can't see part of the inside as one would think you could on your standard fallen shattered log there on the left hand side. Really cool picture by the way, I really love your detailing on his/her/its clothes!

Yah, I think I need to bring my monitors brightness down a bit. Seems like most people find my pics a bit dark. It looks alright on my end.
