Uhh, that was not my question. It's common knowledge what digi zoom is. I was just amazed the huge digi zoom they have on camcorders and i wondered how it looks like in action.

Actually i suspected some kind of measurment difference since x560 seemed unimaginable.

Well.. at least it's a big number and un-l337 people (as in not-enlightened) will be like "ohhh this camera has x560 digi zoom and this only x500!" lol

Does anyone have such camera to give an example, because my digi camera (photo) has x5 digital zoom and it already looks interpolated. I wonder if x560 zooms right down to a single pixel :p

Digital zoom is evil--false advertising/deceiving the public. I have NO idea how the companies came up with that crap in the first place.

"We are too cheap to put in a real optical zoom, so let's just blow up the image inside the camera and call it zoom!"
