I finally finished it. I think there's something missing, but i can't put my finger on it. Do you have any suggestions? Also, does a pressure sensitive drawing pen make a great deal of difference? I'm thinking of getting one.

Cool, I think what is missing is maybe some silhouettes of a gorilla profile in the background or something like that, relating to Jane.

Looks really good but doesn't look finished ...

The detail in the face stands in strong contrast of the lack in detail of the hair, clothing ... work those out and its very nice ...

the thing that catches me first is her left eye looks wonky. while her right eye looks recessed (and correct) her left eye appears to be bulging out.
also, the shading on her neck makes it appear flat, and not rounded like it should be. i think that has to do with the deep shadow under her chin. maybe work that out more.
i agree with the previous critique of the clothes needing to be worked on a little more, and it'd be really neat to have a gorilla slightly in the background.

i really like how smoothly you've colored this piece, a little more working and it could be gorgeous!

I met her about a year ago. She's a really nice lady.
