I like the background quite a bit...painting on the figure is ok, but the pose is kind of rigidly planar to the viewer...The realy flat profile is not very naturalistic - I'd have gone with a 3/4 view. But good job, and I do really like the background...
Oh, I suppose I'd add, that you might want to cool off the skin tones to go with the overall greenish foggy atmosphere..

I love the background but the pose of the figure seems stiff and like marc_taro commented, you should have gone with a 3/4 view or something else besides a side view with regards to the figure as this would greatly improve the image in my opinion. |

Looks very good ... I like the mood and the background of the image alot ...
But there are some things that bother me about the creature itself ...
To me it seems that his neck is way to big and his jawbones are rather big too ... Just fix up the face and the neck a little and you got yourself a very nice piece of art ![](images/smiles/icon_smile.gif) |

while paintig-scetching this, i thought those deformations (jaw - neck) would fit perfectly to the hunchback theme.. ..
but everyone i show this pic says " ... but theres something with the jaw and the neck ... "
i think ill change that.. |

I can see what you are going after when you say deformations of the neck but i think they would better fit the piece if he would hold his head up straight ... like you did it now it looks like an anatomic mistake ![](images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif) |
