First wacom tryout. Used Adi's color technique. I know it looks stupid (especially the lighting). But let me know what's wrong.

Not bad for 'Crap', Actually I wouldn't call it crap at all. I like the use of light bouncing off his armor from many directions but decide on a light source and work from there. Jolly good show Aerocobra. |

by stupid you mean good right? because I think that although the light sourcing could use some work in general it is very high quality. |

hmm, if you don't like the work or think it's stupid, don't post it. if you want people to convince you to like your own work, go to the local art school, that's what it's for.
ok enough of that. don't talk bad about your own work, take pride in it, you'll do better work that way.
regarding the image, there's too much local color, meaning you gotta bounce the colors around, the tones on the image are very good. if it were a black and white image, i'm sure it would work, but remember when you add color to something, it another world of possiblities. keep on postin dude, i can't wait to see more of your work as you progress with that tablet. |

have you done mouse based stuff in the past?
The local colour issue, thats a good point.
The lighting is pretty good. |
