Hey everyone

Looks like the forums are back up so hopefully things will have improved a bit. I figure that I might as well do my part to aid in the return of the once great artistic resource by contributing artwork like everyone else. Hopefully thing will be less chaotic. Here?s some stuff that I did while sijun was down. I may have posted these over at Team GT?s or Enayla?s forums so be patient with me if you?ve already seen these.

This first one is some concept art for an online graphic novel I?ve been working...but indefinitely put hold unfortunately. This is suppose to be a Utahraptor, which is essentially a twenty-foot long version of it?s smaller relatives, velociraptor and deinonychus. Since it is concept art for a character in a graphic novel that is pretty much without and dialogue or text of any kind, I wanted my character to look sentient and maybe even expressive. I wanted him to have a dark, sinister look. I probably ended up exaggerating features beyond scientific accuracy, but who cares.

This image is a ?spur-of-the-moment? illustration of yet another boring dinosaur. I don?t know what it?s eating since I didn?t really have any specific dinosaur species in mind when I drew it. The carnivore, though, is supposed to be a smaller, lighter version of the T-Rex, called Nanotyrranus.

Here?s something a little different since I was getting bored with dinosaurs. This is some concept art for a free-writing project that I?ve been working on for quite some time now. I don?t want to bore you with the back story though.

I have other stuff, but I figure I don?t want to be flamed for putting up too much stuff on my first post back here. Be sure and tell me what you think. Any crits, comments, suggestions and whatever, are welcome and would be very much appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks. I sort think it's a rule with me that once in a while, I have to go through a dinosaur phase, then I get back to what I normally draw which is aliens and fituristic stuff...I use the term "normally" very loosely mind you.

Thanks again for the kind words guys.

I just noticed something wierd. Everytime, in my first message, when I meant to put in an apostrophe, it came out as a question mark.
