Really really nice, I love the painterly technique you pulled off with the face, very nice and relaxing to look at |

Nice!
The face is very well done.
The sky on the upper right side could've used some more work. |

the green on the edges was my way of making the figure look less cut out. the thing on the background as to do with the story of nausicaa, you should definitly check it out if you haven't already, it's my favorite anime. |

Fabulous treatment! The only crit I have is that the figure coming out of the warrior head is a bit stiff, but as its a background detail...
The face is wonderful, its just how she might look were she played by a live actress.
Thanks- |

btw cool painting. You dont often see anime characters painted like real people. |

Very interesting portrayal of the main character.
I love the composition and the rendition of the face. Her body and helmet doesn't have same depth as the face which makes it a bit uneven to look at. The background also suffers from the same symptoms imo.
Still it's a great piece.
Also, anyone remotely interested in animation must see all of director Hayao Miyazaki's movies to truly get enlightened. :] |

Some very nice work. The image is very striking with a combination of a nicely textured female and an interesting background. You'll have to forgive my ignorance but what movie/character is this based upon as I'm completely in the dark in this regard?
One thing that I would hesistantly suggest is to fix up the trees in the background. They seem very loose at the moment but I say this hesistantly cause it allows your eye to be drawn to that helmet/head thingo.
Certainly will be interested to see the next 2. |
