Not exactly digital, but good practice. Took me about 2 hours. I used charcoal on paper.

It has heaps of mistakes.. not really interested in crits (because there are so many

)

rather disapointed in it because I put a fair bit of effort into it.. hmm but yea..
its my first charcoal pic, I learnt that you need to sketch out the initial pic very carefully.. that why the face is skewed and stuff... also Im learning how to render in charcoal, it takes a bit of time to get the hang of, well for me anyway

The image is quite a striking one regardless of any 'mistakes' you feel that are there. As always, when changing mediums, there are limitations and advantages. Just a matter of trying to work out what these are and 'cross-pollunating' ideas and techniques across different mediums.

I actually really like the pic.. as skewed as it is. I think its very nice.. I wouldnt be ashamed of it.. especially since its your first charcoal...

Holy crap.. That's straight charcoal?

That's terribly impressive, Freddio, whether there are a couple errors or not.. I LOVE the highlights on her hair and lips.. and the eyes are just incredible.. I know you asked to not get critiqued, but I didn't think you'd mind too much if I only said good stuff.

Keep it up 'cause that's a WONDERFUL piece.
