Hey guys ..
I finished this tonight .. boy, it feels good to finish something i didn't do for someone else for a change Anyway, I'm experimenting with funky funky color theory stuff and shadow color and all that. I plan to crop it to make it a little more dynamic, but for now, here it is.

Let me know what you think and anything you think i should change .. thanks!

This is cool. Was it photoshop or painter? I like the skin texture and the eyes. although i think the hair looks more like an odd hat... |

Neat pic, Nova. Balance of the pic isn't perfect. how about if you straighten up her hair's main line to match with her head position. hope this makes sense... |

Very nice Nova! It kinda has a Medusa meets dragonball Z meets traditional art feel to it. Thus commenting on this massive hair being somewhat unrealistically supported by a small neck really isn't going to seem appropriate. The colours are really striking and the eyes leave one wondering.
It would be nice to see the hair refined to about the same level as the skin. It just appears somewhat 'lopsided' and unfinished at the moment. |

I like her face alot. Some good character in there.

Id say the hair looks like a little les finished compaired to the face. But I like it. Its so you. Your style and everything.
