a green elf I drew with a mouse for fun after reading something on an RPG called Children of The Sun, about 2-3 hours... he's green because I was thinking about the green monkey thread started some time ago on the board... )) boy was that fun.

Hey, you're really improving fast--I like the play of light you've achieved in this image.

I think the contours of the face do need a bit of sharpening up, though, especially around the chin and ear. I won't complain too much about anatomy here, though, since this picture's obviously more about feeling than strict representation. Still, I think you'd be able to see a little nostril from this angle, and the nose in general could use a little more modeling.

It does capture the 'feel' of Children of the Sun very nicely, though. (I'm doing some of the illustration for that RPG, so I can tell you it works! It really captures the sorrow of the elven race.)
