[Shousetsu]

This is for a contest. Its not my line art, I just colored it. Its by a person named Dansama and the contest was just to color this picture. The wings sort of confused me on what to do, the inking made it a little frustrating to add some kind of light source to them. This is my first time coloring other peoples lineart.

Very good, excellent coloring. Reminds me of the Final Fantasy IX concept artwork and the new Warlands: Age of Ice comic. Good job, for your first time.

Amazing colours . Very nice hue selection, really, fitting for the image, and such .

Only thing, maybe you should darken a bit of the city parts where it should be overshadowed by the tall tower thingy, ...

Anyway, great work, hope you'll win the contest .

I admire the detailed, well-colored city. Excellent atmosphere. However, I think the Angel blends into the background too much. If I'm right, it's near the bottom of the image and it's difficult to establish whether this is his legs or part of the city. I think if you correct that, you're painting will improve. The sky could also use some more contrast or possibly a good color range to make it even more atmospheric.

thanks, your right about the sky, its very bland. Ill try and get some reds in there or some purples, and mess with the pants a little.

I have some of the city darkend from the tower, but I see I forgot the road, Ill fix that.

I think you did a beautiful job. The colouring is fantastic. The illustration too is great. You must have had a good time colouring it. I would love to see some of your work.
