sketch dump. Um. Sorry about the quality. Not too big, didn't want to waste time and fix em up, only sketches, may be colored.

Would these not be better suited for the Work In Progress section?

Does it really matter?

Most people don't care if someone high and mighty posts their sketches up on here, but I've been here a lot longer than you have breakerboy.

Besides these are just sketches, I'll post up the color progress as it goes, some people might appreaciate the coloring process even if my techniques aren't too sophisticated

peace brother.

Yes it does matter. If you care for sijun, act like that.
I hope there is taken action to clean up the forum soon.

Nice Weapon he has, I really like it. I also appreciate being able to watch the coloring process, but I would rather like to see it in the work in PROGRESS.

I too would like to see this forum cleaned up. I think the rate of newbew joining is going insane. Personally, I think one of the moderators should deactivate accounts that aren't in use. Maybe we could get a clear picture of active forum members. That may be a bit harsh and too hard to do though. BUT ANYWAY SORRY!

I'll put the next stuff on the work in progress. woo

whoaa whoa I feel an update comming.

Can someone correct me on the values I'm using specifically.

Hi Superbug.

Sorry if I pissed you off earlier. I am new to this forum, and I didn't bother to check your member number. Again, I apologize. But I'm no newbie, and I don't intend to add to the problems this place seems to be suffering from. Just want to continue my growth as an artist and help anyone else when I can.

Your color choice is very interesting and everything is harmonious. I really like that sort of mauve you've chosen. It works really well with the muted blues of the fibo...achi...uh, guy there.

Where's your light source coming from? Knowing that would help determine your values a little better.

Overall, I'd say the values are pretty effective. You've already got a lot of depth and atmosphere. It would just be nice to have a little dramatic lighting on your main guy there. Maybe a couple of the troops are holding torches throwing some warm tones on the surrounding men?

Anyway, you've got a very effective underpainting going so far. Nice work!

Hehe, thanks breakerboy, actually, I got a new updated picture. I think i'll post that one up soon. The main lightsource is from the guys hands...he's casting a spell. I guess it looks a bit funny with him just holding his hands outstreched

But yeah torches in the background seem like an awesome idea! I really like that and never thought of it, so i'll implement it. And I checked out your site Breaker, really really really nice stuff.

and darkstalker I want to pound your ugly face
