he is not gettin a reaction because it is not his.
i cant remeber who originally pained this but it was for a skinning/painting tutorial in wich the psd was givin out.

for blue man he messed with colors and took away some of the highlight layers.
and for black man he took away midtone layer to leave only highlight layers.

why did you do this rbfigueira?

I don't know why you aren't getting a reaction to this, but it might be because this is more of a WIP than a finished thing.

The facial structures look good to me.

Keto, dont say that !!!

I know the tutorial that you are talking about... and OK it was my reference to do this pictures I assume that!
Yes, the highlight layers are very equal, i have tried to "copy" by reference "copy by eye" how he do that... how he use the lights ....
and i have tried to do my own.
Dont say that i have use that psd, its wrong, i did not use that psd !!

I dont know if are steal picking the exactly reference... but its wrong to do one picture "copy by eye".
Its wrong to try do the "Monalisa" ? Perhaps it was wrong... sorry I only do that to try to learn...

You have right in one think, i must have put here my reference. You are right with that.
Sorry to the author and to you guys !!

Sorry , i did not think that you guys react like that , but i understand, you don't know me..

This was my firsts (tried) digital paintings that i have do it (4-6 months) ago, perhaps i have began with BAD METHODS.

Sorry again...

Best regards,
RBFIGUEIRA

One way to learn is to copy by eye. I think that is a very good thing to do. It would be different if you said this is something I want to sell or something like that. I think that you did a pretty good job of learning by coping this by eye. Highlights are something that an artist needs to learn. What is art but the artists concept of light and dark?
Hey trying to create the mona lisa from eye is one great way to learn..matter of fact I posted to my doing that when I was learning in my gallery.
I think these look pretty good...and keep on learning and practicing...Kudos...

ol ricardo,

Hey, that s not bad at all ; my advice would be to use hard edges brushes instead of the "airbrush-like" ones. The anatomies look ok, but the overall shapes look a bit blurry

P.S : a tua cidade muita bonita, estive l uns poquos dias a trs boa continuaa

alright maybe i went a little overboard, if you copied it from eye than that is ok, but some parts of it look too much like the original so that leads me to believe that you used the orinal psd in your works.

the highlight layer especially looks exactly the same in some places (brow region).

if you did just eye render it, then you are very good.
