Here I sit infront of my Dad's laptop in Canberra, relaxing after the silly silly 'adventure' that is moving. Soughting through stuff, packing boxes, people around you stressing, organising stuff, then the actual travel (for me, by car from Caloundra Qld to Canberra), and then the shinanagans that is unpacking, at which I'm yet to do as it's pretty much all in storage while my folks find a place to live (staying with my bro for now). My 8th move, this is.
Ugh... so who else loves it all? @;-) Gimme some stories. Someone else better be able to relate, or I'll cry. Or not.
My poor puter's in storage... *cries* |

Dude, I moved my entire life from one place to another--get this-- FIVE times last year. All of my stuff is STILL in storage, and it's actually gone from one storage to ANOTHER storage, instead of finding a home. And guess what? They'll stay in storage for a couple more years until I decide to break my sabbatical and return to the States.
I can't complain though. All of the crap that happened has lead to the fucking awesome time I'm having now. All things happen for the best. |

hmm the only thing i found to be funny about me moving was the part when half my heart was ripped open and dragged out on the street where i used to live and left there to decay, then moving to the designated country only to find myself unable to speak the language properly. I couldn't even joke:P yeah it was harsh times, have turned out pretty good though but i still feel a part of me is still left behind with my old friends a such. But yes moving can be fun if this does not apply to you...

strata-- Heheh. Not only that, but I get to do ANYTHING I feel like 24/7. I can draw, paint, compose music, write my screenplay, work on 3D, or just hang out anytime, all the time. It's like a very long vacation that won't end until I say so.
Of course, China still sucks ass, but I have everything I need: all the high tech/entertainment stuff I can choke on, and as you mentioned, a little chica. |
