Grat! I got this image posting to work. The drawings I'm showing are somewhat abstract. Abstract in the sense that I'm not really trying to render anything but through the process of drawing I arrive at something that reminds me of something that could exist.

With abstract art of this sort, we must critique on composition. This particular image is comprised of many spirals overlapping. However, they all tend to fall into right or left pointing spirals. The strength of the piece is the three left pointing arcs in the middle of the image. If you were to look at these and then build contrast around them, to make the energy and emotion you're looking for, you'd find you could be much more effective. Don't be discouraged with abstracts, but don't be lazy either! It takes a solid understanding of the principals of art to make the chaotic do what you want!
