It's a very nice picture, the anatomy is perfect. But I think it'd be better if the outlines are not so thick and dark. That shouldn't be hard to fix. |

She has an adam's apple! Oh, the agony! She's a man in disguise!
Besides that, it's a VERY good job, man. |

I like both of them, heh one little warning, don't get used to spending lots of time on figure drawing (were these from real life?) because you have to learn to draw figures quickly if you wanna take an official class (I should know, the first day of my very first figure class, we did about 40 of the 3 minute poses, it was painfull)
some notes
if you wanna concentrate on lines more than shading take the line beyond just around the figure.... try going through the figure, vary your line thickness so on, you allready have a good start with that but practice drawing without shading at all, getting the weight and shape of the figure by line width alone
if you wanna try a cool chalange, try getting some india ink, water, a cheap brush and lots of paper, (printer paper possibly) and sit somewhere comfortable with a view (the mall?) then draw as MANY people as you can as fast as you can, this was one of my homework assignments, I had to do 150 drawings in one week, which the teacher claimed was "going easy on us" it's another painfull excercise but it is really fun, and you get some interesting techniques as you progress, learning to be more comfident in your brushstrokes, and drawings. |

I'm going to make this real simple like.
1-Torso is great.
2-Adams apple, BIG no no when drawing a woman.
3-The hand is wrong. The "pinky" finger should be the shortest finger, yet it is the longest. Shorten that puppy a little.
4-She looks asian to me. But her face is a little too..........Cartoony? Almost looks like anime.
5-Love the folds in the cloth. Simple rendering, yet very effective. Nice and smooth.
6-I'm done babbling now.....carry on.
For a first.....It's simply amazing. You have no where to go from here but up and if you go up any further....well.....you'll be too damn good. So stop now. I don't need anymore competition.
Take it easy,
