wow, you did these with markers- good stuff. I cant really crit it cause i dont know much about design stuff. But i will say the figures look really solid, kinda remind me of toys. i really dig the red guy with the wings- i want one. |

If you are shooting for comic book style...Primary colors and the boxing in are great and I like the art and marker look. If you want to do realism..then don't box it in...give it a solid background and drift away from the primary colors into shades.(don't let being color blind hold you back...I can't remember what great it was *now* that was color blind...but anyway HE was admired for his colors...every knock can be a boost) I have major Dyslexia and no depth perception...so far no one has guessed in my work...*gulp* at least I hope not...
Cool work keep it up!

whats with all the colorblind artists on this forum? every so often someone says theyre also colorblind and they're usually really good artists too.. maybe I need to go colorblind!
but yeah, first three are pretty gaudy, but good drawings - the fourth is a good combination.. light blue, olive green.. lets you focus on the image and not just the colors. |

Apparantly everyone is somewhat color blind. We only see a limited chromatic scale. There was some lady recently who was born i think trichromatic or tetrachromatic (i think normal people are bichormatic or trichromatic?). Apparantly she might even be able to see more colors than we can! I wish i had super mutant eyes heh. |

Thank god for genetic enginering... in a couple of years, you'll take a pill and be able to see all new colors...
