If someone knows a prog that can take video clips from desktop. I know Snag-It/Camtasia does that but it's extremely slow.
Know any other vid capture that wouldnt be so slow while runnign a game?

I ended up using Camtasia for my group's demo reel. I needed mutliplayer action recorded, and QANTM in all their smartness didn't think to have video out cards anywhere. Good on ya... so yeah, I ended up using Camtasia for multiplayer action over a 56K modem. *cough*

It didn't turn out too bad, but I still cringe at the chugs it has (altho some tricky post video editing could rectify it a bit, something which I didn't have time to do).

Video out card if you can get your grubbies on one. Else, try one of the programs you've already tried with nothing running except it and the game.

Yeah i think that's how they did it - vid out. But then they had to record back off of VHS? Hm
monkey - Adobe Premiere or AfterEffects should be able to do that, also i heard of free program that comes with Camtasia - it can chop up clips.
