i did this for an alice doujinshi. the pic would probably look better without the background, but i put characters in empty voids too much. i also don't really like the torso, i followed the original game model too closely.
the mercury girl is of course, american mcgee's alice, enjoying a spot of cosplay.

I like the bg, personally. I don't think it would be as good without it.
Her right hand(on her hip) looks like it's kinda just being held there, rather than resting on her hip(to me, anyway).
Her nose sweeps back at a pretty steep angle toward her eyes, but it doesn't protrude much from her mouth(kinda makes her look like a chipmunk or something).
But it's a nice pic overall. It gets my stamp of approval(not that it's worth anything ).

Ok, from my hours of staring at breats, I would think that the necklace would create a sort of crevace in the middle of the shirt, show it's weight. Also the hand thing doesn't look like it putting any pressture on her waist.
I especially like the hat and hair. Very neat and cool |
