I've set up a new website to show my artwork.
eyewoo.com
Check it out if yopu have a moment. There are just 4 images on for now. I'm going to grow it with just what I feel is my best stuff,

I like that a whole lot... it's neat how you have the different options for each image. Although a simple feature, I think it really enhances your site. It always helps that you do really spiffy work too

I rather like the site's layout, it's pretty simple to navigate, and it has options to view details of your artwork.. I think the fourth picture "1995" is fantastic, especially the hands of the guy on the right. Other scenary paintings look great too. |

I like your stuff a lot. The last picture disturbs me. I don't even know why, I cant tell if he's like some "elephant-man" or some thing, but it evokes a very strange reaction from me.
The site is simple, but effective and very easy to navigate. Works for me.
Also.......
I think I saw your work at another site a while back. I think it was digitalart.org? You the guy with the red eye-glasses right?
Anyways..........
Good show.
Take it easy,

Damn, "stream" and "swimhole" are awesome.
As for the site, well, I like the navigation and design, but not the choice of colors. |

really nice work, and I think the site has a good set up. It did take me a min to find the 1 2 3 4 to flip through the pics though.... maybe I am just slow I think having them for viewing at different sizes is great. |

Lovely work~ The colors are fine, to me. The only thing that bothered me was the fact that it was hard to find where the images were. Maybe you should try putting the image links in the frame on the left and the image options up top, since they are just options (the details n stuff)? I dunno. My site design kinda bites so approach with caution -_-;; |

Thanks for all the comments...
Jezebel... I wish more digital artists would show details of their high-rez work. I love seeing the brush strokes and how different areas are handled. I've actually added another view option which shows the progression of the image through various stages.
Juan-Philipo... If you happen to see this, I'd like to hear what it is about the left side navigation that you don't think is working. My attempt was to create a non-obtrusive navigation structure within which to showcase the artwork.
Ahcri... Thanks for the comment... Yeah, 1995 is a very personal picture for me. I explain that a bit more in my reply to cybertoker2001 below -- who thought the picture was quite disturbing. It is...
roundeye... "4 is kinda freaky" -- Yup! It is... Thanks for you comment on the other three as well.
ex... Thanks...
cybertoker2001... Yep! I'm the guy with the red eyeglasses. That last picture that disturbs you is a very personal image. It sums up what was a very bad year for me - 1995. During that year, I lost everything trying to start a business. The loss took place over several years of trying to get it off the ground (a manufacturing biz for a telecommunications device), but it was in 1995 that it became clear it wasn't going to work and I was out everything... The works, house and all... and essentially, being the guy at the helm, it was no one's fault but my own, hence the focus on my own hands. Bad year!!! Things have gotten a lot better since...
KleptomaN... Thanks... I like the colors... oh well...
extension13 & Felaxx... Thanks for the comments... Yeah, I know the top menu might be a bit hard to find, but I figure most people will find it... I can't see putting the options at the top and the image numbers on the side... that would tend to push the actual image too far down the screen.
