I don't know why I'm the first to reply to this, but I like.
She/it's face bothers me, but it has nothing to do with skill, more of a matter of taste.
Few too many abs (For a human anyway). Matter of fact the whole torso seems kind of off to me. I'm really diggin' the piece of machinery she/it's leaning up against, great detailing with the wires and such.

Anyways.........
I don't think I've seen you here befor.
So.....Welcom aboard.

Keep working, soon you'll be a masta.

Take it easy,

Star Trek fan, eh?

It's all very well done. I especially like the background, and the machinery.
I don't see the point in the "tits", though. Borg queens don't need 'em.

That portion of the Borg Queen is almost entirely mechanical. There is no need for the areolas there (sp), it just makes it look like pornography instead of art.

Judging by your post count, you're probably new around here, so Welcome to you!

I absolutely love the background there! And the machinery too. The borg queen on the other hand, looks a little funky in places. The way she have her shoulders looks a little unnatural, almost as if she was in pain.
The lighting is a little off too. As it is now, the borg is only has one light source coming from her upper right. Only in the background there is at least four strong lightsources that doesn't affect the the borg at all. With all that light there wouldn't be much black on the borg. And it's too monochromatic, since it's being hit by relatively colored light and also bounce light. You've created a pretty advanced lighting situation there. I'm not sure I could've handled it better, frankly I'm pretty sure I couldn't The left side of her face and shoulder (her right) is lighted almost perfectly.

As I said before, the background and machinery kicks butt!

/Jim

The rendering on this is really nice. I could go on and on about the good things but I'm going to be evil and say some critical things... heh heh heh ::ahem:: anyway... the empty space on the left of the woman is a little bothersome to me. I like things either totally centered or wackily off, like all the way to the right or something. Um.. that sounded really confusing hehe >_<

And the face. Since her ears are higher than her eyes and her forehead is very tall and large, did you mean for her to be looking down? Not with her eyes, but with her face? It looks to me like her head is looking down, but her face was, like, taken from another photograph of someone looking straight-on then grafted onto the figure on photoshop. Harsh, huh? Sorry, but that's the feeling I got. Otherwise, I like all the details you put into this with the wires and whatnot. It shows that you put effort into this. Nice =)
