wow, this got buried fast....
it's mostly imagination... I tried to
paint someone from memory, but it turned out to look a lot different than it should've come out.

Hmm... Kinda sucks that this one got ignored, I like it a lot.. My only crit is that her eyes seem a bit off.. I'm not sure which one is in the correct perspective, but they don't match, so one of them must be wrong..

I agree that her eyes are off. Try flipping it horizontally and seeing it from that perspective. It usually helps me correct the overal form of my artwork.
