This post is a piece of art for my website, where we have many portraits. I am a beginner, very much so, but I try. This is my second completed portrait since I bought my wacom. I mainly used Painter Classic, but also did work in PS and PSP.
I would love any feedback. I cannot seem to figure out shadows. Drawing what I see is always foremost in my mind, but it doesn't turn out right when I try to execute.
Flaws: lighting isn't quite right; head is too short; one eye is shaped a little different; etc. etc.
I am going for realistic, but I think it's too early to hope for that.
Reference
At any rate, many of you on this forum inspire me to paint. |

Well you are accurate in your flaws you have diagnosed. If you see em, try and fix them! |
