Assessment wise, anyway. I feel I could easily detail the texture more, and I plan to in the future. I know the hand hasn't been detailed, and I'm missing side pant pockets, but really it's minor things. Just gotta Physique this guy and whack my animations on and assessment = done.

Polys: 920

Texture map (256x256):

YAY! 2 more assessments to complete...

Yeah, looked like my server went down for awhile. I can see them now, so here's hoping it stays that way.

Brain, your character looks cool, but you need to concentrate a little with the proportions. For example, the legs seem oddly short (specially the knee to ankle area). Also, the head looks a little large in the side view.

Apart from those minor details, I think you're off to having a great 3D character to Physique. Good Luck!

Wow this is so cool. It makes me want to start learning how to model in 3d.
It really looks like you too. Was this a personal project or was it for a class or something?
What can you use models like this for? What are you going to do for the animation? As you can see, I'm a little curious as I know nothing about 3d.

Hey Jason. This was (is) a class assessment for our current unit. It's a low poly model, and is intended to be used for games like Quake 2 and 3, Half Life, things like that.

The animations I have to redo (*grumbles* my old ones messed up) is typical stuff for games. They're 2 idle animations, a walk cycle, a run cycle, a jump, crouch idle, crouch move and an action, like climbing a ladder or firing a weapon.

Gimme a yell if ya want to know more. Glad to inspire you @:-)

Good stuff Brain. I look forward to seeing you equipped with your trusty rocket launcher.

The only thing that stands out to me is the waist area which makes the jersey look like a skivvy instead of loose fit.
