Hey,
Haven't been around for quite some time. Lots of reasons, but who'd really want to hear 'em...
I had some time to spare so I figured I'd do a SKIN for SONIQUE. It's not perfect, but all the little "gizmos/eq's" work, and that's saying a lot, since the skinmakers for Sonique are buggy as heck.
Anyhow, for those of you that don't know. Sonique is a MP3 player for the PC and can be downloaded at www.sonique.com.
To install the Skin all you need is SONIQUE installed on your PC, download the skin from here http://www.go-liquid.com/forum/eve.sgf , and double click it.
Voila, you have a new look.
For those that just want to see it -- here is a sort of mockup of the LARGE/MID state.
Later,
Christian

Ahhhh, that's why you were asking.
Looks good, bud-- I just got a burner for the PC downstairs. Maybe I'll get the player just for this, mm?
Cheers.

Whats the primary difference between Sonique and Winamp? I use the latter...
All of my attempts at trying other mp3 programs have ended in disaster! |

Thumbs up on that skin. I'll have to download it soon. I have a friend that did some of the more popular ones... like the model sorta half sitting/laying in a reddish 'mahogany' like, interface. I'll have to track it down, in case anyone gives two shits about what the hell I'm rambling on about... bleah.
I'm a particular fan of this chick's pooper. S'funny... I don't really draw poopers very often. Every time I get the chance to draw a dirt shoot, I end up deciding on a frontal layout. Hmm... lemme write that down: feeb will hereby draw asses, whenever the time, and opportunity, are made available.
In all that jabber, did I mention that this skin kicks ass? I did? Oh. Ok, then... lemme shuffle out the back door now, and get my tired ass some sleep. |

Hey guys -
U2ART - If you end up downloading the MP3 Player, let me know how it does. I'll be stopping by a bit more in the near future, however I am currently in the process of looking to do some more computer/web work outside of comics.
ADAM - Let me know what you think.
SCOOBY - It's been a while, since I've screwed around with WinAmp, but being fairly artistically minded, the variety in shape, and interface freedom that SONIQUE offers, seems to kick WinAmps A**. It just plain looks better, and still does everything you need it to. Maybe someone with other experiences can chime in...
LITTLEPOOP - It's actually OC, but why bother putting that in, since most people don't know where its at anyhow.
FAZ - That's really odd, and not something that shows up on my screen. I really can't think of any reason that the old JOG button would be superimposed. Considering how Sonique internally treats the MASKS and JPGS. Odd. Nevertheless, while SONIQUE itself is pretty damn stable, the damn Skinmaker software wasn't at all... so I figure anything is possible. Let me know if it started working correctly.
FEEB - Thanks Mike, I think you're stuff is amazing looking. Keep up the awesome artwork... more importantly lets see some more poop-shooters...
NOTE: I forgot to mention, that the "C.Lichtner" tab on the bottom is the Tab for the EQ Slider...
