This is my first attempt at drawing something from life. First I thought I wont be able to come up with something useful, as Ive never drawn something other than things out of my imagination, but Im not too unhappy with the result.
Rip it apart!

Hey, I can point a few things out, but I'm no expert at all, so I may be wrong
The overall shape seems skewed, and the highlights aren't potent enough, just little fuzzies. It lacks a bit of definition, which is pretty much just reworking certain areas. But, make sure your proportions are right before you begin drawing. This will make your life alot easier when the details come along. Good luck. |

Not bad at all. Looks to me as if you have done it strait on the Wacom. I have only have my tablet about a month and there is no way I can draw anything from life with it yet. So I know it isn't easy.
Defintely take the advice of Akolyte. If you sharpen up and define that highlight, you will be amazed at how much it helps the form. So chuck on the bright white! |
