Ok, I was going for an "animated cartoon/comic style" with this piece. This is not my usual forte, but I thought it would be fun. So this is what happend. I call it "Dungeon Break".
Enjoy!

The scene~

The boy (right)-
Is our prebubescent "knight in shining armor". "Saving" the princess from her captors.

The girl (left)-
Our little spoiled princess. Who by the way, is not having anything to do with the boy, or any of this "Dungeon Break" business.

Ok, Not that its really a crit (kicks anything I can do straight to hell) but the shadow across her face looks dumb and her arms make her look like she's fixing to do a "I Dream of Genie" blinking out trick.

Please don't make me feel old and ask who i dream of genie is...

Hey Cybertoker,

Really like your picture - its very colourful and it tells the story you want quite well. Only thing that bugs me about it is his index finger on his right hand. It seems abnormally long. Then again, the little princess might come to like that extra long finger.

Hey ya'll. I changed the girls face a bit. I got rid of the black shadow under her lip for the most part. I think it looks a little better. What do you think? I also have to say what up to Mike from Mikespencil. Thanx for always takin' the time to critique my stuff, I whent to your site and your illustrations rock. I expecialy dig the guy on the main page riding the pencil. Crazy. Thanx again to the rest of you as well. Your comments have been very helpful as usual.

Nice work Toker! I looked at the pic before I read your words. Looked to me like the kid was peeping on this chics sisters and she is pissed at him and sneeking up on him

hehehe. Yours explanation is better though.

Cyber, I'm also digging this piece. Seems very solid!

I'd like to make one suggestion... I know that she's in shadow, but it would be great to see a bit of light catching her.. her forearm, elbow, a dash up the side of her face, and catching in her hair a bit.. she looks too flat without it. Cool? Cool.
