I am still playing around with this. Let me know what you guys think. The soundeffects are some NIN and some YES. But you can't really tell with all the filters I added to them in Sound Forge. The only part you can really tell is the YES drum roll.

I am really digging that man. It is hard to make something like this scary and it always amazes me when someone pulls it off. Which I think you did. I think it is very creepy.

Have you seen the Requiem for a Dream website?? Their website gave me the chills. It just gets under your skin.

If you haven't seen it go to www.requiemforadream.com and I'd wear headphones if I were you.

i watched the trailer, and looked at the 3 pages of your comic. the artwork is amazing, just beautiful. the only thing i can crit is the text. for one thing, i think the comic sans font is a little to cartoony for the theme of the comic. might look better italisized or somethin.
the other thing about the text is i think it could be writen a little better. things like "You see... I'm a pro and can kill in the blink of an eye", just doesn't hit me right. in one of my english classes, we learned a lot about "show don't tell"... well what I'm trying to say is you shoulding just have him say "I'm a pro", you should make it obvios that he is a pro, just by the way he talks and acts, and his history which you can hint at. maybe if you change it to something like "i began to watch his eyes-" (next box) "what may seem like a mear blink" (next box) "can be an eternal darkness"

anyway, nickmarksdotcom: good work on that trailer.. my only complaints would be, are you really gonna use that picture of your dad in the comic?
Its really hard to read all the text as it flashes by. I would say just a fraction of a second longer with the words up would be great. but yeah it is creepy, good work.

Nice. It looks like you put alot of work into this. I'd like to see more. If this makes it to print, I'd be more than happy to have an issue or two in my collection.
