This is my second pic.
My first was posted in the "Works in Progress" Forum here a couple days ago in case you were wondering...Though I should have posted it here. |

Although I don't really get the subject matter, lol, I think you could sharpen the edges a bit in some spots. The blurriness is somewhat distracting. |

For a stylized drawing, its pretty neat. Though you might wanna fix the whip holding hand.

Thanks for responding guys!
Well....The blurriness I attribute to my newness to the digital medium (hehe....blurriness is never something I had to worry about with traditional media). Honestly, I have a hard time perceiving which exact portions are blurry, but I sharpened the image overall and it looks somewhat better....I think:
I liked this image right when I finished it (like I almost always do) but am starting to wonder if it's any good at all. So far Akolyte didn't understand the content, and Awetopsy liked it (thanks!)....so does this pic make any real sense?
Also, I'm concerned that the composition doesn't work. I was intending for it to be long vertically, and most the action be towards the bottom. I was going to make up for it by making the chandlier and background attract more interest, but I'm not sure if I succeeded.
EDIT: Thanks Shaded. My pieces are always greatly stylized. I don't try to compete with all the amazing realists...hehe
