indeed a very nice website... you've got a great selection of high quality work there 
This piece is very cool as well. I like the little details like the wrinkles in the clothes and skin, the shadows, and little things like the buttons on the shirt.

Thanks for all of the compliments, they mean a lot coming from the members of this board.
As for the gradient in the back, I had used it to grab colors for highlights but ended up liking the way it looked.
As for the comments about the level of detail I thought I would show this:
I do work somewhat loosely, but just at a really huge resolution. |

Love your style! Great shading and shadowing! But I really don't like that yellow. Is there a bit of a background you might put him in, too? A shadow under his feet and on the ground would be nice, too! ;}
