Thanks. I did this using a big brush on "diffuse" setting at a low opacity. I painted in only black and white paint, switching back and forth as neccessary. If I paint on a large canvas reduced on the screen, I get a charcoal look.

Just a quick sketch. No reference and the shadows and highlights are all stylized. Just something to waste some time at work.

Done with Photoshop 6.0.1 using a mouse.
