Hey there.. Welp..I've designed my own site with a bit of a Jules Verne feel to it. Feel free to tool around. The photos gallery has yet to be tossed up, but will be soon!

I like the design.. it's a cool interface/menu.
I would appreciate it if you could point me in the direction of some tutorials or something on how to make websites. Thanks. |

Good idea for a website, but I think it takes WAY too long to download for the average user. You mentioned in your resume that you are using ImageReady. Try taking the images back into that program and splice it and optimize it. Really you don't need to make each mouseover into a 400x1000 pixel,95kb gif. Try using the Jpg format. It tends to work better for images with lots of gradation. Cool sound effects!

Also, the menu text should also respond to a mouseover. It's a bit difficult guiding the mouse over the circles while looking at a different part of the screen to see what section it lights up.
