Hi Everyone,

This is my first post so allow me to introduce myself. I'm Chris, the Design Director for FrostedFlame Media. We are a brand new firm in Ontario and we are set to launch on July 1st (Canada Day). Here is the logo I just finished designing. It's simplistic, but that was the goal. We think it's a pretty versatile design, but we are looking for the opinions of the "community". And there is no place like Sijun for quality feedback.

While I'm speaking, I must say that I am amazed each and every day when I visit these forums. The talent here is absolutely stellar. I'm honored to be a member.

Thanks for taking the time to look!

Very nice and clean logo design.

I would try to experiment with the orange color, to find a better type of orange.

One little thingie...
the gray address, just move it down 3 pixels... coz it to close to the dotted line.

hmm..yes...nice and crisp...but then thats to be expected from a logo..hehe
nywho, does the flame still work if u flip it horizontaly??...doing that would make the flames look like 2 f's...if u get my drift?..

oh sure when i leave ontario, a design firm pops up here *sighs*

anyways.... my eyes go strait to that white dotted line.... i think the logo should be brighter than the underline, or at least a happy medium...

heres uhm... just an idea, take it as you will...

connect the d and the f, make the orange come out of the f and the blue out of the d and twist them strait up.... or fade them into each other or something... having it tilt back kinda ... hmm would that be bad compostion? i dunno. im no expert....

hire me, i need a job...

Thank you everyone for your feedback. It is greatly appreciated. I agree with almost everything mentioned and changed the design accordingly. I liked your idea about spiraling the flames straight up Lisa, but it made the logo a LOT less linear and much more vertical. Which is fine, just not for our purposes. I do agree with you about the dotted line - hence, it is gone

Again, thanks everyone. Please lemme know what you think of this updated version as well if possible.

P.S - Lisa, email you resume to [email protected] and I'll have a look at it.

Regards!

just a tip for the future... dont just replace the old one with the new one... post the new one and leave the old one so we can check the differences
