I'm trying to help my kids play Halo, but I don't have enough time. They get stuck on the "343 Guilty Sparks" level, inside the building with all the extra evil aliens, they've spent hours there. Anybody know the way out? |

well, I dont remember which level that is, but maybe this will help some:
"There will be several places where you'll see The Flood attacking the Covenant. Let one side kill the other and then pick off the winners. There are also several places where the two groups will keep each other busy and you can escape without either noticing you (there are several spots like this in 343 Guilty Spark when you escape from the facility).~(Bruteman)" |

Play co-op, win the game that way. Thats what me and my best friend did. Right now he's trying to win the game on legendary.
Another idea is to just retreat whenever your shields get low and wait until the recharge, save gernades for the stronger enemies or large, cramped groups.

Thanks Eshara, and Firefry, I'll remember that if we ever get out of there.
To remind you which level it is, it's the one with the swamp, where we first meet "the only thing that scares the Covenant". There are 4 or 5 rooms connected to each other, my kids got in there while I wasn't watching and when I tried to help them get out we just couldn't find an exit, just running in circles for hours. Weird, and annoying, I thought it was supposed to be a combat game and not a puzzle solver - there are few things in the gaming world I hate more than puzzle solvers...

Sounds like your pretty far. Do you already know what halo really is? Just trying to figure out where you are
If your into RPG's and have a PS2 I'd recommend FFX (Final Fantasy 10). I got it last Saturday when I got sick and have been glued to it since then. Good graphics, good story, cool creature summonings...
I'm baised though, I grew up with the original final fantasy back on the old nintendo. |

We've done 6 of 10 levels (almost). There's been one revelation about Halo, but there might be another later? So I don't know if I have the final answer on that one.
FF10 sounds fun, and the images I've seen look fantastic, but I only have the Xbox, not the PS2. Bought it for Xmas for the kids (and me), that's why we're not all done with it already. |

well, here's a motto to recit while your further along in the game:
"wait! it gets worse!"
Me and my friend haven't finished any of the levels on legendary mode. We just keep getting our asses whipped to the point were we give up.
FFX is wonderfully well done. I hate to say it but my save says I'm over 40 hours into the game. I'm pretty sure I'm close or at the final battle. Its dubbed in english so there is no more having to read text windows. This really helps the flow and feeling to the story. A lot of the scenes are in game cutscenes (they make facial expressions now) but there are rendered movies too in squares typical (good) style.
I think I've sold the game enough, hehe. |

Retrace your steps in, then when you come to the broken light bridge there is a door that opens in the room of the bridge or the big one before that lets you out. Shotgun and Assult Rifle to beat the flood. |
