Hello there!
I got so tired painting this pic so I desided it was ready for posting...
Feel free to tell me whatI could add or take away blablabla...simply Crits
Uhm...I'm gonna get rid of the black line between the light thingies from the truck in the foreground...I forgot about it and a friend told me just after I uploaded it...*sigh*

I rendered a simple model in 3dSmax and painted on it...

That's really cool Cap. Painting over a 3d model is something I've been wanting to try. Just my personal opinion, but I think the texture on the pavement (in the foreground, especially in the headlights) stands out a little too much. Everything else looks badass... you did a really good job.

very nice capitan. Nice to see you're posting again too ! You've done a lot with the original rendering, or actually everything except the perspective. I guess it was for the challenge, if not I think you probably could have rendered more values and colors & textures as well, and the get more for free -But, impressive it is.

Wow, that is really badass (as Jezebel puts it). I'd also have to agree with her on the concrete texture in the forground. The texture seems to large in scale then it should be.

That looks cool. The line of light on the left looks crooked though or not lined up properly. At the top it seems to start to the right of the lamp and beneath the tail fin it curves to the left.

Thanx for crits everyone!

I made the 3d model that simple because I wantedto paint some too! All I wanted was correct perspective on the enginges and stuff, I wanted to play a little and challange myself so that's why I did't makethe 3d scene that detailed...

Very awesome! You kept working on it and making it all nice and tidy. But I think there aren't enough tiny super highlights on the metal, and not enough dark spaces where no light could go. I really dig the little guys standing around Really adds life to your painting!

Hey Captn! This is awesome ( as usual ) but I think the aircraft could use some more detail, or maybe more small highlights as they said, but im just being nitpicky.
Hey why are you never online on ICQ

I can't belive my eyes! Damn great work!!!
You have to give short briefing how you did this... What I can guess you used filter for the ground and aeroplane's shadow is in separate layer? But anyway this so impressive! congratz Cap.

Fucking Hell! (like they say in the UK)

That's amazing in its photorealisticness! Looks like a matte painting (but not like the crappy ones in The Mummy Returns).

Great! I'm amazed!

Hey, I really like your work. It looks like if everything were rended in 3DS. Keep it up.

Hi man,
everything been said before, i can only add a suggestion - if you paint over the render and the scene is complex i found useful to left some wireframe. If you drop a grid at big shapes (like floor or walls) it will be much easy to keep the perspective right.

and nothing wrong with that black line - looks like sort of floor texture... just draw it away.

keep painting dude!

Hello Captain, wonderful work!
From your picture, I would feel the pic's air... cool and containing some mechanical oil.

I like this sight and the air !
