Here's a painting/drawing I did. It is very adtract and I did not pay attension to your "normal" artistic rules. Anyhoo, I really liked the way it turned out and if anyone has the time I'd really apreciate some comments and crits.
PS sorry for the bad quality of the pics.
Here is the small version-

The face grounds it, but sorry, I'm not fond of abstract stuff. Do like the inclusion of the face though. Yup. Yesiree. |

Thats really awesome bro! I like that a lot! Contrast in it is great. What was your canvas and what did you use to paint it? |

Spiraleye- Yeah I am not really a fan of abtract stuff either, but I wanted to "doodle" and this is what came out of my head.
Dryfire- Thanks. Abouts the canvas, it's just thick white drawing paper w-21"xl-32". Similar thickness to a shoebox. As to the materials, I just used Black India Ink, Some Colored Inks (Blue, Turqoise, Red, Yellow), then a friend let me borrow these things called "Oil Sticks" there like pastels there oil paints. There really, really neat and I have never used oils before so I messed around with those. Also I used some acrylic paint and gesso.
Zero21- thanks. Anthing specificly you like or just the way the color works?
More comments and crits would be great! Thanks for your time. |

Hey Jucas, that looks really cool. Normally I don't like abstract stuff, but yours appeals to me. I think because right now I feel like just getting lots of different materials and doing whatever.
It must have been a lot of fun to make this ![](images/smiles/icon_smile.gif) |
