Ermm, well he's old school because it was inspired by the old Metroid series of games on the SNES, NES and original game boy. Sure, he's no Samus Aran, but I was doodling around with the idea of a combat suit and the arm cannon thing came to mind.
There are plenty of mistakes regarding the light and form I'm sure. I need crit!

Hey nice. There's something funky going on with the neck... it's strange.. The lighting on the head seems to all over the place..there's too many sources. If it is reflected light on his rigth side, you were intending.. then it is too similar to the directly lit side on his left..
Nice painting.. |

Hey all, thanks for the replies!
Collosimo: Yeah, I seem to get very confused with light sources. There's supposed to be one very distinct light source in the top right corner and then there's the firey bits down the bottom left.
Vesuvius: Russel Crowe? Hmmm I don't see it
Shardik: Thanks, yes, next time I do any type of combat suit I'll take into consideration the padding thing.
Awetopsy: Yeah it does look a lot like boba fetts helmet. I actually copied the visor part from Metroid. Their suits also have a visor like that.
Cicinimo: Thanks! Your art work is really great too
Freddio: Thanks |

NOW that that's outta my system. I think its pretty cool.
Crtis:
Head is sorta small, or neck is to large.
The chest and the lower torso are at different perspectives. |
