not strictly finished but thats the nature of doodles. I've been using these as an experiment to learn to pencil on wacom like i would on paper.
tho ive had a wcom for a year+ i've never really used it to sketch until now.
I'm liking it, its quicker and cleaner and easier for many things, tho theres still something thats not as fun as sitting with a pad and twisting it around to get a tricky line correct.
input appreciated.

Groovy man! I really dig the highlander guy at the top. You use your pad for your skins, right? I mean, if that's mousework, that's insane!!! Keep up the good work man. |

Ysg: I use mouse and wacom for my skins and general digital art stuff. I cant draw straight lines very well, thast why my guns and general machinery / environment work is weak.. so i use mouse of the technical stuff and wacom for teh curvey stuff.
Dean: I'm just usuing photoshop 5.5 , paintbrush with opacity at 100 so i can mimic my penciling. Its taken a few tries to learn to just be more light handed but it does look more similar to my pencils now.
cheers,

Great looking work Ror, I like your style
The first pic somehow reminds me of Solid snake- I think it's the hair and the sharp features that does it
I noticed something about the bottom image tho- the eyes on the front view of the psyched up yet calm character- his eyes are a little higher than they should be- makes the face look longer than it should be.
That is really the only quibble I have- I hope I can get to your standard one day ![](images/smiles/icon_smile.gif) |
