whooohoo. I set out tonight to try and put some action and motion in my art and I am very happy with the result. I think it is a good start and a neccessary one if I am to pull off this comicbook. For those of you who are visually impaired, it is a pic of a guy drawing his gun speedly at a dramatic angle.

I'm not sure why he is so angry though...or what he should say...any ideas?

It looks like his hand is moving, but not the gun.

huangluoyi - LOL...thanks!. I was really trying to be inervative

Imiron - good obeservation...I just changed the pic to try and let the gun move more..I streaked the highlight and blurred the barrel alittle more.

I agree. I think this thing needs some soundeffects...a blam blam off to the side would be great! and some smoke coming out of the barrel. THanks

I dunno, a big comic like "BLAM" would just look weird and disrupt the style you are allready using... maybe you could show the gun in mid firing with the shell just coming out... (and the ... uhm, thing that covers the barrel... pulled back by the force)
heh I know all the mechanical operations of a pistol... just none of the names

haha thats cool! I love the guys expression.

One thing that bugs me is that the motion blur on his knuckles goes to the right (my right) while the blur on the gun goes to the left. I could be wrong though, heh this is about as far from my style as you could get.

yeah...u need to make the gun's movement more dynamic...or maybe cause its black in the upright, u dont see it *shrug*

The angle of the streak comming from the barrel looks like it should come at a slightly different angle.

I am also getting some strange feeling about the hair on the left (his left) side of his face and the bottom blur of the gun.

Just my opinion. Other than that I love the to design of this.

Nice, definitely has movement, and action...

The barrel looks to high compared to the position of the trgger, and grip.. it also seems to tilt upwards, and the hand and trigger suggest it is being held a little lower than level.
