Elrond established Rivendell as a refuge against Sauron. He is the father of Arwen, and a foster father to Aragorn. This role was played by Hugo Weaving. Okay in this movie he really doesn't look a lot like he did int he Matrix. But the thing that is bothering me is what so different about his face? I mean I thought it was he had large iris, but that's not it. Is it his face is overly thin? This is really bothering me because when a face catches my eye I try to figure out what made it so it stood out from the rest. And no it wasn't the poiny ear either. |

It was probably his very high hairline and the pulled back yet draped quality of the hair did a lot to make it look longer than it actually was. |

I thought it might have something to do with the hair cause I looked at picture of him (not as Elrond) and his face didn't seem the same and the hair pulled back seemed to be the only difference.....
Thanks Gothic Gerbil. |
