Everytime I see your rat pics, I smile. You know why?

I was born in the year of the rat.

Sure you don't want to move to the U.S. and work for me? Last offer.

Yes--silly me--I DID forget to turn on the shadow layer before I saved. The correct version ought to be showing now. *Kicks absent-minded self*

Lunatique, I do WANT the job--but I HAVE to finish school, unfortunately.... So sorry.

Very nice work Socar! I just would suggest to make the ground more solid 'cause now it could be water..

Beautiful rendering, kind of morbid but cute.
One thing I find strange though is the perspective of the bird at the bottom. Looks odd with the grass coming behind it.

No kidding, Gux--I'm such a moron! I drew all the birds on the same layer for simplicity's sake, and I MEANT to move that third bird back behind the grass layer...but it looks like I forgot to do that, too. Stupid me. Well, it's done now.

Great image Mr. Myles. reminds me of something...not sure what it is. Just for fun you say, but it looks like a childrens book illustration. Great work !
I like the center and above part of the image best..the foreground isnt too exciting. Perhaps you could crop it...
and, I didnt notice at first glare, but the white mouse's eye is strange in shape and in very contrast to the surroundings.

*giggles*

Yup, still finding your rather sad pictures a lot funnier than I should be.

S'really great, by the way. Love that little fluffball's eyes. And, you know, you're right... you /are/ great with scenery. I really suck with backgrounds, myself.
